SANTA CLARITA’S MOST EXPERIENCED COACHES
Our coaches have the most CrossFit experience in the Santa Clarita Valley, with a combined time of over 75 years. They come from various athletic backgrounds like marathon running, powerlifting, and football, and have professional experience in fields such as law enforcement, fire fighting, and the military. They are CrossFit Level-1 Trainers and many hold certificates in other areas of CrossFit, as well as certifications outside of CrossFit. Our emphasis at CrossFit Coveted is on safety and proper form and our coaches promote and enforce these values each and every day.
Nicholas Gonzales
OWNER/COACH
Nicholas joined CrossFit Coveted in 2015 after wanting to find a new way to stay in shape. As a FireFighter/Paramedic and a former Marine, he felt right at home with the camaraderie the gym brought. Nicholas likes to help athletes achieve goals and accomplish things they never thought possible. After being a member for 4 years, he became the owner of CrossFit Coveted in 2019 and hopes to continue to keep the camaraderie of the gym going for many more years.

Jennifer Gonzales
OWNER/FRONT DESK
Jennifer joined CrossFit Coveted in 2015 as a way of trying to keep up with her husband and three boys. She fell in love with the community and support she received. You can see Jennifer (and maybe their three boys too!) at the front desk welcoming members as well as answering any questions you may have.

Elliot Zibli
COACH
Coach Elliot was a triathlete when he was introduced to CrossFit in 2004 through his work in law enforcement. He started with the CrossFit Headquarters Main site workouts at his garage gym and continued them at LA Fitness for several years until he joined an affiliate in 2012. His extensive experience in CrossFit, as well as his experience with teaching in his professional life, have proven to be an excellent combination that serves him well in coaching athletes.

Danielle Zibli
COACH
Coach Danielle was always involved in sports growing up and was a 4-year varsity softball athlete out of Notre Dame High School. Her love of sports brought her to CrossFit in 2012, where she excelled and quickly rose to the top. Coach Danielle went to SoCal Regionals on a team in 2014 and California Regionals on a team in 2017. She expects to qualify again in 2018 with her ultimate goal being the Games.
Coach Danielle loves the outdoors and she likes to travel. Her favorite thing about coaching CrossFit is helping her athletes achieve a goal they never thought they could accomplish.

Cole Mateko
COACH
Coach Cole began going to CrossFit when he went back to college in 2014 looking for a structured form of exercise that would match the intensity of Kickboxing. He discovered an entire lifestyle, which includes a strong community, support from athletes and coaches along with the most dynamic physical challenge he has ever been a part of. As a coach he loves watching members accomplish feats they never thought possible. That concept brought him into Crossfit and is what he loves to share with others.

Suzanne Hawson
COACH
Suzanne has been doing CF since 2015 and is a 5-time Ironman finisher. She is a CF-L1 coach and enjoys working with athletes to help them reach their fitness goals. Suzanne is also a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy and has extensive experience treating athletes of all levels to help them recover from sports injuries.

Jenn Bellio
COACH
Coach Jenn started CrossFit in 2014 as a way to try to lose weight. After years of doing barre workouts, she wanted something more challenging. CrossFit was exactly what she was looking for and not only did she find a workout routine she could stick with that was challenging but she also found a new way of living. CrossFit not only improved her physical appearance but her mental wellbeing. Wanting to help others ignite this change within themselves, she completed her Level 1. Jenn’s favorite part of CrossFit is the community and lifelong friendships she’s made over the years.
